Oil Change & Lube Service

Want to save money on vehicle repairs?  Schedule regular oil changes.

Due to improvements in the life of semi and full synthetic oils, the recommended time & mileage interval between oil changes has increased.  Changing your oil provides better fuel mileage, lower emissions, improved engine protection, and provides for easier engine startups, especially in areas with cold weather like ours.  How does the suggested mileage interval differ from the three different oil change options?  Here is a snapshot: Conventional oil changes are recommended every 3,000 to 5,000 miles, synthetic blend oil changes are 5,000 to 7,500 miles, and full synthetic oils have manufacturer-recommended mileage intervals of 7,500 to 10,000 miles. You can see these intervals change based on your driving habits, and what level of importance your vehicle plays in your daily demands.

In addition to the importance of regular oil changes when your vehicle gets an oil change it is also a good opportunity for a vehicle inspection. We perform an inspection with every oil change. We do not do these inspections in an attempt to charge you more money, but to keep you safe and possibly save you money!  If your technician discovers a problem during a vehicle inspection it can be remedied before it becomes more serious, your checkbook and personal safety both win.

The next time you take in your vehicle for an oil change, and the service advisor provides a report with some areas of concern, please understand it is done with your safety as the first priority, and your checkbook not far behind.
