Hawkins Automotive recognizes that without an exception the most important safety issue on your vehicle is your brakes!  If you have the slightest indication of a brake problem, have your brakes inspected by a professional automotive technician.  In addition to being a safety issue, early diagnosis of a minor brake issue can save you hundreds of dollars.  If you are experiencing any of these issues, please have your brakes inspected:

• Your vehicle seems to pull to the left or the right when stopping.
• Your brake pedal seems squishy or soft and you have to press harder to stop.
• You feel a shake or vibration when pressing on the brake
• You hear a squealing or grinding noise when brakes are applied

These problems can be the result in prematurely worn brake pads, leaking brake fluid, air in your brake lines, misshaped rotors, a failing brake master cylinder, or other issues within your vehicles braking system.  The sooner you have the potential issue identified the better for your safety and the potential repair cost.
